Intel for everything that uses 1-4 cores, laptops and mobile devices.
AMD for APUs and everything that uses multiple cores and not only 2 cores where efficiency its not a problem.

I just buy what gives me the best preformace, price doesnt rly matter.
Given that Intel is scaling down on their PC operation the next few years should be interesting.
Still got no idea why Intel don't try and compete with TSMC/Samsung on the foundry level now, they have the manufacturing capability and capacity if they're cutting back.
Maybe in a few years if they go the way of IBM they'll start offloading fabs.
