Why do people let themselves get so distracted by their phones? I've often seen teenagers almost walk into traffic because they were too busy on their iPhone or Samsung to be aware of their surroundings.
I myself once walked into a street sign while messaging a friend, but after that, and seeing how bad everyone else was, it got me wondering what's so addictive about smartphones, and it also got me to put the fucking thing down every once in a while.

That's parents fault for allowing television and advertising educating their children.
I grew with drugs, alcohol and degenerate friends that partied often than going to school so I had no time for all that - hence today I don't even take my phone with me when I go somewhere, literally because there is 0 brainwashing inside my head.
Doesn't bother me as much as the fact, that I, as the driver, get the majority - if not all - of the blame, if someone walks mindlessly into the traffic while looking at their phone instead of the road.
