The Singularity will happen after you die.

Robot waifus will happen after you die.

Proprietary software will always be popular.

Anime is for Japanese children.

ok freetard

I guess owing an expensive home, car, bimbo with with big plastic tits, rolex, yacht & vacation home also don't mean anything

get the fuck outta here

What was the financial crisis fag
>>
>>54268677
>an expensive home
Doesn't mean anything to me. I'm perfectly fine with dying in my suburban ranch house, even if I wind up a millionaire.
>car
I pity people who blow their cash on shitty lemons like BMWs and Porsches. Talk about an inconvenience.

You seem to be under the impression that other people give a shit about what you own. Once you grow up, if ever, you'll have your priorities in order.

You can't own women, you misogynist douchebag.

people will literally treat you better because of the stuff you own

the reason people treat all you autistic tards like shit and you can't get a girlfriend is because you think carrying around a cum stained thinkpad shouldn't reflect poorly on you

you guys are some serious big time losers

So does making cancer threads

>Brand new camaros

Yeah.

You can save your money, live like a dog, and then buy a couple of nice things. Weebs do it all the time and fill their mother's basements with $1000 anime porn dolls.

Or you can live like a king while growing your wealth ala trump

Which one indicates a superior intellect, better social connections, and more drive to succeed?
>>
>>54268722
>people will literally treat you better because of the stuff you own
I wouldn't consider those people my friends. As somebody with a pretty sizable net worth, I've learned that being discrete about it is the best course of action.

I'm going to assume you're underage from the last part of your post. That, or the millennial generation is truly fucked.

Arch isn't actually a bad and broken distro, even if it's not as easy as just installing Ubuntu and having everything work out of the box.

Yes, it does. It means you're a good goyim.

It means you're dumb with finances if you take out a loan to buy a computer or phone.

Carrying around any laptop will reflect poorly on you

>dell/hp/asus/etc
>"eh, its a laptop"
>thinkpad
>"eh, it's a doctor/school laptop, his dad probably handed it down to him"
>macbook
>"ugh, he's probably so pretentious, dun wan no beta that calls himself a fuckin code artisan gurrrrl"
A mac wont' always fuck up your image if you're already cool, though.

Men who get pussy have: a phone. And nice clothes. A week's worth of quality clothing costs more than any macbook, and proper maintenance shows that you're a competent human being and not a slacker that never learned to take care of himself.

A fucking laptop shows that you're a nerd who can't go ten seconds without writing shell scripts or an insufferable autist that "JUST NEEDS A REAL KEYBOARD"

Funny how all the productive programmers I've met use stock Windows/OSX/*buntu setups yet I see Arch users on here all the time who proclaim their distribution's capabilities will enhance productivity. The Arch users I've talked with, however, prove just the opposite.

Leasing a phone, a car, and a house is the norm.

So, let's say you have a family of four at the poverty line. Both adults are pulling in $24k together.

iPhone with shit plan: $99/mo
Shit apartment: $800/mo
Nice-ish car, no warranty: $500/mo
Really fucking shit insurance, male driver over 25: $100/mo fuck if I know
Used retina macbook from last year: $900 one time fee, bought this year

How much do they have left to feed themselves ramen, roadkill, and potatoes?

Oh yeah, poor people can't afford any of that! Not.

Your shiny gadgets don't make your poor NEET ass look rich.

Not literally but using some hipster OS just to be different indicates a solid level of idiocy.

>getting mad at someone for using it does
Indeed.

>brand loyalty is a sign of immaturity, as is buying a piece of tech to use as a status symbol
Duh.

> owning an expensive computer or phone doesn't mean anything
It usually means that you're spending your money smart. Buying expensive stuff once is better than buying cheap shit and having tons of problems with it, then having to replace it earlier.

>A fucking laptop shows that you're a nerd who can't go ten seconds without writing shell scripts
It doesn't matter what exactly you do on it, as long it's not social media shit or gayming, a laptop reflects positively on you, since you're doing something. Whether it's shell scripts, writing your own fantasy novel or managing a company.

A good looking laptop like a macbook, obviously reflects even better on you, since you don't look like you have to use something you found in a trashbin.

In Germany, (so I take it's the same in the rest of Europe) directly from Apple if you go for 24 months and from almost every big store, some even offer 36 months.

Obviously buying it with interests would be pure cuckoldry. Do people really do it in Burgerland?

>>54271176
I see that you can't follow a conversation nor read between the lines, it was mainly a response about the effect on girls. Everybody with a job will have an easy time to attract them either way unless the person is a huge sperg (in which scenario, a luxury car is the last hope) So scenarios at work are irrelevant, and people in these think about relevant shit. In a more casual setting, it will obviously affect the first impressions.
>>
>>54271528
