Thoughts on the Xiaomi Mi4c (and Mi4c Prime)?
Very similar to the Redmi 3 and Redmi 3 Pro, except it has a 1080p display instead of 720p, and a Snapdragon 808/Adreno 418 instead of Snapdragon 616/Adreno 405.
Only downsides are the price (basically the same for the regular version, but the Mi4c Prime is $80 more than the Redmi 3 Pro) and the battery being 3080mAh opposed to 4100mAh.

well there's a big discrepancy, I think there's guys in /csg/ that said they could get band 4 in north america, some said it was only active with the rom that came from the seller and didn't work after they updated miui. it's still a mystery to me because the official Miui website says there's a China Telecom version that supports them.

3GB/32GB Mi4c? It's $209 on gearbest. It looks good and like you said the battery is smaller, but the camera is also better than both the Redmi 3 and Note 3 Pro. The Mi4c SoT beats the Nexus 5X.

Bending does inevitably happen in your pocked/bag/whatever though... remember all the reports of iphones (was it 6s or something, can't remember) breaking in peoples pockets?
Also, it's a nice indicator of build quality.
