my 980 ti boosts out of the box to 1.42ghz all on its own with a small 200mhz overclock on the ram. i really like my fd node 804 case. easy to work with and even though small it can fit a ton of stuff.
my r9 390 and my z97 mobo for when i want a new cpu.

That particular brand and model have a notoriously high failure rate. Oddly enough, even worse than the Seagate 2GB or 4 GB.
Do some research, and consider exchanging it for a 2GB.

If I got custom sleeved Cables or made some myself the cable mgmt wouldn't be so bad but that's not a real priority of mine atm, but otherwise yeah, too small for cables to go anywhere else.

Then upgrade, if you need it. The 780Ti is already outdated but I'm using it until real 4K GPUs arrive, it performs decent enough for BF4/ME3. And I don't play a lot of games.
