Not the guy, but a 'computer' and a 'terminal' are two entirely separate things.
>>
>>54245153
see pic related, it's a terminal. The shit y'all are posting emulate this device.

This particular terminal looks chibi and kawaii as fuck
>>
>>54245154
They can also be the same thing. A bus terminal can be multiple things as well. Please don't grasp to firmly to one definition or else you will miss so much more that life has to offer.
I sincerely hope the circumstances in your life allow you to find truth.

I understand the subtle semantics, kids; the original question asked for the differentiation between 'terminal emulator' and 'terminal'.

You now have the answer, so fuck off.
>>
>>54245260
If you had applied the ``subtle semantics'' you claim to have understanding of to the ``original question'', ``you would now have the correct answer''.

There is no reason to be rude, unless your anger is stemming from being incorrect yet unable to admit it. The ego is not your friend.

No, it does things terminals did not and does not do things many terminals did. Because it's not even a terminal emulator. It's a terminal-like program.

Xterm's tec mode is the closest you're going to get to faitfhul terminal emulation these days

Why would you actually go to the color scripts folder to run that?

mv color\ scripts .scripts

chmod +x .scripts/tiefighter.sh

touch .aliases

cat alias tiefighter='~/.scripts/tiefighter.sh' > .aliases

source .aliases
>>
>>54256541
why do all that shit instead of just adding your scripts folder to your path
>>
>>54256571
Because you can then add more aliases to the .aliases file, which can be sourced by by whatever shell you want to use, instead of including a bunch of shit in your bashrc, fishrc, zshrc, whatever. You just source the aliases file in each shell config. Either your suggestion or mine are better than what that user is doing, cding to the directory to use the script.

While currently in school, I am making time for the important things in life, like getting my CompE degree. Once I have more time this summer as I finish up the degree with my art gen ed and some other unspecified class, I'll have time to make everything a bit more efficient. It is on the todo list though, don't worry.

No saltiness meant in the tone of that.
