Oukitel, k4000 pro is amazing if you need battery life and are fine with low end performance. Scores 25000 on antutu so it's not too bad, but there's a lot of better shit out there.

Pic related is their latest, the k6000 pro. And they've got a new one coming out soon, k6000 premium, which will have a 10 core cpu heliox20 and 6GB ram

m8, RN3P is pretty good right now. Beware of unknown chink brands and trust the likes of Xiaomi that are known to be at least somewhat decent. Plus, you get atleast a little dev support. Oukitel and all those are DOA unless they push regular updates which I doubt they will (unlike Xi)

Oukitel will push updates until the next phone in that release is out. The k10000 has had 4 updates, and will be updated to 6.0 along with k4000 pro.

K6000 has been forgotten because k6000 pro.

Are updates really that important? I just want good battery life and performance, and the k6000 pro does have a larger battery.
>>
ordered a tablet holder for bed time viewing of kodi for my teclast. is taotronics a good brand? I see their name on BT headphones but thats it.
>>
>>54236830
Updates are important for security in my opinion.
However, I do reckon Ouki has managed to excel on build quality so far. More competition for Xiaomi is always good and they have way too many curry fanboys at the moment.

I'm leaning towards the oukitel because of the 1080p screen, bigger battery, and the tough build quality(IP64 certified), but the xiaomi still offers excellent battery life and performance and is only 5 inch.

This is really stressing me out.

So, when searching for The RN3P on willmyphonework there's 2 versions of the phone, China mobile/Unicom and Global, do all online stores carry the Global version?, how do i know which one im buying?.
>>
I'm really tempted by the RN3P, but MIUI looks like absolute shit.
What other options are there?
LG G4 is a bit old.
OnePlus 2 is as well, also battery isn't that great and no ext storage.
I'm almost tempted by the OnePlus X despite it being smaller, having no fingerprint scanner and also not the best battery.

I don't want an OS that's better in theory but runs like shit because it's full of bugs. An OS should work on a phone.
>>
Help me out please, guys. I'm stuck between whether I should get a thinkpad as a temporary computer or a chuwi hi12 tablet/pc.

I'll be spending the next 3 months half at my parents' place (4 days) and half at the flat (3 days) where my computer is. I'll only be using it to watch girly cartoons, browsing 4chan, running visual studio and unity. Maybe even gimp, audacity, shotcut, etc.
I have zero interest in keeping hold of it though after the 3 months are up.

T420 pros
>harder, better, faster, stronger
>much larger storage capacity
>an actual laptop
>cheaper (I think?)

T420 cons
>not very pleasant to look at
>it will get no love when I'm not there

Hi12 pros
>much higher screen resolution
>touchscreen (I'd get the keyboard too so not sure what I'd use this for. Maybe do some sketching?)
>one less thread to browse on /g/
>my younger brother and sister can have it after I'm done with it, even my mum knows how to use a tablet

Hi12 cons
>it's a fookin tablet
>>
>>54238934
get a Hibook
>>
>>54238960
I'll take that on board. Any particular reason as to why you'd recommend that item?
>>
>>54238901
That's true.

Cm never felt right on my Nexus, I ended up with purity, which was aosp.
>>
>>54238934
>T420
>>
>>54238934
I have a surface pro 1 and a t420. The tp is unwieldy but actually functional for real work and the sp great for fucking around doing desktop things in odd places.
>>
>>54239016
I think the problem with custom ROMs is that experience varies completely from model to model, and depends on how many people are going to be developing for that model.

When I tried CM 12 on my Xperia Z1C, apps started crashing all the time, battery got worse and general performance was just not as good.
Maybe on Nexus phones it's better optimised.
>>
>>54239021
I've never owned a laptop so I just grabbed the standard thinkpad model posted on /g/. Same with tablet, just said hi12 because it's the latest one out I can think of but the item this guy >>54238960 said is quite nice and cheaper so I'll use the hibook in place of the hi12.

>>54239044
Yeah I figured the thinkpad would be much more professional and closer to a desktop than the tablet. It's good you mentioned the unwieldy aspect as the spare room doesn't have a desk so the hibook would feel more comfortable on my lap I guess. Regarding what I mentioned I'd use the device for, would either do the job well?

Thanks for your input guys.

If it's just for personal use the best way to learn Excel is through tutorials and forums like excelforum.com or mrexcel.com

Build quality, mostly, layout style and compatibility with keycaps. Oh, and LED quality. Though it seems to be using a pretty standard layout. The switches in the Motospeed one are Kalih, I believe, while the Ajazz uses Zorro ones, if Aliexpress buyers are to be believed. An anon promised to review it, no idea if that was done.
