Help me out please, guys. I'm stuck between whether I should get a thinkpad as a temporary computer or a chuwi hi12 tablet/pc.
I'll be spending the next 3 months half at my parents' place (4 days) and half at the flat (3 days) where my computer is. I'll only be using it to watch girly cartoons, browsing 4chan, running visual studio and unity. Maybe even gimp, audacity, shotcut, etc.
I have zero interest in keeping hold of it though after the 3 months are up.

I think the problem with custom ROMs is that experience varies completely from model to model, and depends on how many people are going to be developing for that model.
When I tried CM 12 on my Xperia Z1C, apps started crashing all the time, battery got worse and general performance was just not as good.
Maybe on Nexus phones it's better optimised.
