Tried it, it sucks. Few, if any Android apps are keyboard/mouse aware and it just feels really awkward having to "long click" the mouse button.
>>
>>54229093
I don't really like it to be honest and I don't think many people here will either for a couple of reasons:

1. this doesn't seem to have the ricing potential that a lot of people here enjoy (not everyone)

2. can NOT be used for programming, there is no decent (or existant afaik) ide for android, no vim or emacs or visual studio or code::blocks or nothing

3. there aren't many good vidya gaems on android, yes I know there are some good ones but the type of people who want to sit at their computer and play clash of clans or candy crush saga are too young for 4chan

I don't think it's too bad but it's definitely not for the type of people that go on /g/

Yes. But it nonetheless has issues. Namely, Termux has disagreements with most bash scripts, namely with regards to the #! line. /usr doesn't exist on Android, nor does the env program. There's a lot of compatibility issues.

Best way to get a good UNIX development environment on Android involves a chroot jail. Consequently, this requires root, which Remix OS lacks.

Android uses the Linux kernel, so Linux is better than itself?

If you mean traditional GNU/Linux distros, those can run the Android version of Office too.

Not understanding why people choose Linux over OSX.

That said with a bit more progress it could be interesting. I tried it on a dell XT2 and couldn't stand the mouse glitch (it gave me a circle rather than a pointer).

>>
Looks like a mix between ChromeOS and Papyros. Meh.
>>
>>54229093
Google is supposed to be making a chrome Android hybrid soon anyway... Just wait for that. I'm sure a bunch of new shit will come out when it hits...laptops, hybrids and maybe a few all in ones. Hopefully this time the OEM's don't cheap out on the specs like the last time they tried this shit.

As for myself it would be nice to upgrade the old reliable slatebook x2... But God forbid anyone make a Android convertible tablet/netbook with specs that don't make me wanna blow chunks. It's too bad too...Android is comfy on a netbook with an Xbox controller.

Two years later and the best options for non windows shit is still stuck in the hell of 2 GB of RAM and fucking tegra 4 and God fucking forbid I expect more than 16-32 GB of storage...

Oh well...between cheap ass manufacturer's and autistic Linux die hards we'll prolly just be stuck in Microsoft hell for eternity.
