meme case
>>54140681
You will have a fine meme machine. Now go fuck off.
>>54140712
>>54140719
the **** is wrong with it?
>>54140681
Fractal's Node 804 is leagues ahead of the 240 in both quality and functionality.
>>54140725
like 30% of it is space wasted.
>>54140736
explain?
>waitfag
>meme case
>i5
>meme cooler
>led fans
it's like youre not even trying
>>54140725
It's fine. Now go fuck off.
>>54140759
see, the left side of the case that part with the grills thingys, this is where your parts go, the other half is just where the psu and the cables go.
This is practically a normal case(left side) with half another case slapped(right side) into it to throw your wires and shit, it can't even hold a descent number of hard drivers.
>>54140817
>2000+16
>still using hard drives
Wew lad, I chucked out the HDD cage to make way for better cable management
people here are so judgemental and critical without actually stating why. What is wrong with /g/? is it turning into /b/?
>>54140870
then carry on with your meme case.
>>54140870
>Having to remove the HDD cage to do cable management.
Truly a meme case.
>>54140877
>Thinks it's the 240 that's the meme case
It's the 540 that's the "muh a/c" unit you raging faggot

Are you some fkn autist or something where everything is a 'meme'? Reminding me of those 9gag rage comics right now, shit man you are some lowly fkn plebian normie.
>>54140891
>for BETTER cable management
How's that giant atx case teetering on your desk, pajeet?
>>54140906
>>54140919
>>54140918
Whatever you say meme loving faggot, should have gotten a SilverStone TJ08B-E instead.
>>54140906
I've been looking for that pic for the last 10 minutes
>>54140927
> still needing optical drive slots
Check out this faggot
>>54140870
Wow, it's like you don't think ssds need any cabels or something
wow okay , OP here,
Any reccomendations? no flame plz just honest sugguestions?
>>54140955
That doesn't even make sense...
I meant to better route cables since the HDD cage blocks out a grommet. But whatever makes you feel smarter pajeet
Just get a Fractal Define R5.
Silent > Meme cases.
This case isn't even that small anyway so why bother going with it, either way if you want small go fucking small and not meme small.
>>54140980
I suggest you get what makes you happy. I also suggest you do not waste an entire thread dedicated to your own personal build.
>>54140817
>idiot
I have 6 drives in mine plus an m.2, how is this a problem?
>>54141006
2.5″ hard drives arent 3.5" hard drivers anon.
I own this case I like it a lot it has its problems but I would still reccomend to others just make sure you plan your build accordingly.
>>54140998
This is good advice, although I dont believe im breaking the rules... If i cant post this on /g/, then possibly where else can I discuss technical computer compenents?
>>54140995
I have the 240 and I'd agree with you. Honestly op you should just get a case that fits your needs. My 240 works perfectly for what I need. Just research on a case that meets your specifications. R5 is a nice case too for the same price.
>>54141044
What problems have you ran into? And how does my build look to you currently? I wont sli, but its nice knowing I have the option. Ill mount radiator at the top most likely and have it exhaust.
>>54141028
So you rather have big ass 3.5 disks, there's YOUR problem.
>>54141069
I'm sorry for being normal, Mr. contrarian.
>>54141049
Reddit would be a good place for you
>>54141068
Reddit helps desu. Also lurk the /guts/ threads for nice ideas. Good luck
>>54140681
It's a pretty decent build, actually. RAM is nice, but you didn't specify PSU or HDD/add for us to criticise
>>54141105
Is that your setup, senpai?
if so, hows that push pull fan setup on your front mounted radiator affect the temps of your 980?
>>54141148
Yeah sorry I didnt include, I have a 875 watt PSU frmo my old machine im using, as well as a standard 2TB seagate drive and a 128gb SSD. I might end up getting a better quality SSD, not sure yet. Id rather save the money and spend it on a higher end gpu when the time comes.
>>54140681
>H100i GTX
Don't do that. Mine just failed after one year. Get a Dark Rock Pro 3 or something.
>>54141259
Pretty well actually. Even under load everything hovers around ~50°c
>>54141411
Is push pull better than just 2 push fans? I'll get a new H100i soon and will have 4 fans then.
>>54141411
Any difference between the h100i V2 and the GTX? because the gtx i was ordering is out of stock and now the V2 is available.
>>54141917
Don't get the V2, it uses a Asetek pump which sucks.
CoolIT units are just better.
CoolIT Sourced Units
H80, H80i
H100, H100i
H110i GT, H110i
Asetek Sourced Units
H80i GT, H80i V2
H100i GTX, H100i V2
H110i GTX, H115i
CoolIT H110i + H110iGT have two and H100i + H80i have four fan controllers, all Asetek only have one.
Asetek still only has one fan controller, with a Y cable so both fans will always receive the same control signal.
CoolIT can use any temperature source, Asetek can only use the Cooler Temperature.
CoolIT firmware can be updated, Asetek can't
Also a bunch of units have been renamed and now everything is a fucking mess, don't buy Corsair units buy a Kraken X61 or something like that.
The V2 is the GT/GTX. It's just renamed because a couple people were confused.
Rebranded.
(Asetek)
H80i GT = H80i V2
H100i GTX = H100i V2
H110i GTX = H115i
(CoolIT)
H110i GT = H110i
What a fucking mess.

Air cooler size is pretty limited in the air 240
>>54142050
This cooler fits and works great

>>54142006
The problem is that im limited to 240mm...
>>54142252
>240mm
Silverstone Tundra TD02

Is there anything glaringly wrong with this build?
>>54144738
You're paying out the ass for form factor, which isn't even small. That case is SUPER tall for an ITX case. You're also paying out the ass for an i3 with a slightly better iGPU instead of simply getting an i5. You're also paying way too much for an SFX PSU.
Here is a build that's better in every way. Better CPU, better GPU, and a much better case that, while large in volume, doesn't have a ridiculous dimension in a single direction.

Honestly I don't really see a difference at all temp wise when I just had a push config. Maybe a degree or two but nothing ground breaking. It does run quietly though so that's a plus in my book. Even in load you can barely hear it.
