Hfs+ has file transfer issues on a regular basis, something ntfs doesn't. Not even going to compare it to ext4.
The kernel itself is outdated and unoptimized, it works and that's all. They added very little on top of Mach 2, it's essentially a compatibility layer. Windows gets better battery life on a macbook than os x, which is designed for that specific hardware. That's how shitty the kernel is.
I understand that you don't know this from daily usage, because that's all OS X is tolerable for: daily browsing, webdev, irrelevant shit like that. It's also tested with a random trackpad, not the Apple one. It doesn't take a genius to see the physical limitations of the clitmouse and if that and studies are not enough for you, there is also the word of the market.
