I've been looking at those new convertibles with styluses which seem like a great idea but not sure which one I should go for, my budget is pretty high ($1300) since it's my sis, main requirements I have in mind are digitizers and display quality.

Power when you need it, plug in a poorman's Cintiq for Touch and Pen input, powered with and fed by a single USB 3.0 cable. 256 levels of pressure. Built in monitor isn't that great, though. Looks good, 1600 x 900 13.3", but only 500:1 contrast and 45% NTSC.

Few more considerations for OP
Get the DisplayLink from their wesbite and the Wacom Feel Drivers too. The Lenovo drivers included are pretty out of date.
Optimus Fullscreen Exclusive will crash. This is a problem with the DisplayLink Drivers. If she games, just disable the dGPU in device manager, load up the game and change it to full screen windowed borderless, then reenable the dGPU. Otherwise, the nVidia GPU still works just fine.
Also, get a new pen. The built in one is really thin. Prioritize buttons; I can't get my eraser to work.
