i have an old as fuck Macbook from 2007, been running Capitan for about 4 months and last week decided to install Win 7 64 bits and the improvement in performance is quite noticeable.
This just confirmed the maymay assumptions that Apple actually implements planned obsolecence with software updates, same shit happened to my iphone years ago, an iPhone 4s that suddenky performed like absolute crap after updating it to iOS 7 i believe it was.

Actually I've read that Apple makes sure their older products run slower on their newest soffware, to force people to buy new ones.
Microsoft has no interest in making macbook owners want to upgrade, so Windows runs normally on them.
