My parents had a computer with an 8 inch floppy drive but I wasn't allowed to play on it, it was for work only, I remember they would run dBase on it.

I didn't have many games for my IBM, the best one was a rush'n attack knock off, I also had a space invaders and a battle zone clone. Still they saved me from spending some of my quarters at the arcade.

No, computers ruined my life. Since then all I did was playing games, no studying, and become a iliterate faggot.
Now I´m 40, single, alone, no job, living with parents, no income, have useless studies with mediocre results, and my life is ruined.

Because of the computers.

Now I´m sitting all day and night in front of a computer shitposting and readind useless shit. Every day since 5 years. Not enough brave for an hero. Just live, eat, shit and sleep.
Not playing games anymore, I lost interest in them time ago.

Study, anons. Get a life. forget gaymes. They are shit. A waste of time. Play them wisely, only a fraction of your time. Life is priceless, and mine is wasted.

Not really, but it sparked an interest in games

It wasn't until I got a 486 (or maybe a 586) that I got really into computers.

Dad used ot have this weirdo friend who pirated stuff. And all these games had to be extracted and copied, sys and ini-files changed to make the damn games work.

I think that process set in motion my quest for learning and started training me for trouble-shooting in general.

I owe that weirdo a lot.
