Looking at the z5, z5 compact, z3+ and nexus 5x. Which of those has a good camera, is able to browse, emulate and multitask with no problems, has no issues with overheating (summer is around 110 F) wont be obsolete in 2+ years and isnt overpriced

If it's the X 2014, battery life isn't the greatest. Display is yellowish even brand new and limited to 16 or 32gb mostly. 32gb is very hard to get your hands on unless you pay a premium.
Build quality is great though. And the different color backs are a nice touch, mine is the bamboo back. CPU performance is good, and if you unlock the bootloader you can get latest Marshmallow on my variants.

I was given a free LG G5. They sent me the gold one, which isn't my style at all, but hey. I had a Nexus 5 for years.
The battery life is already way better. LG's UI is annoying in that I cannot double-tap a notification on the lock screen and instantly be taken to that app - with knock-on the screen just turns back off, and even when disabling knock-on it doesn't work the stock Android way. Nothing happens. I just use the fingerprint scanner now.
The camera is better and it's got a bigger screen. I can't see myself ever using an SD card or replacing the battery, but I'm sure those features are nice to some. The phone is ugly. Like, really ugly. I'd rather have a Nexus 6P, but again, free.
It's not a bad phone though. Solid 7/10. Runs fast, lasts all day, big screen.

If you're in America, just give up now. The OnePlus X, despite having a specifically made version for North America, does not support full AT&T or T-Mobile frequencies. And yes, it's a big deal.

I'm using PureNexus rom and ElementalX kernel and like them both a lot. They are pretty minimal, but have everything I need, are in active development, and I can barely get through the day on a charge. On stock I would have to charge in the middle of the day. They're also super stable, haven't had any crashes or other issues.
All that said, I just preordered an HTC 10 because the battery in my N5 is struggling, I bought it at launch 2 and a half years ago.
