RIP the best mouse ever made edition. It's a shame that they replaced it with A GORRIRION BUTTONS.

Rice is literally the only important aspect when deciding on a keyboard/mouse. Prove me wrong.

What's a good mouse? One is $150 the other double clicks after 3 month and another makes beeeps like a tinnitus. I 'downgraded' to this and so far it's perfect

What's a comfy mouse with a comfy finger grooves/rest on the right like my current?
It's long out of production by now and I sadly didn't buy a spare one.
>>
>>54002093
Mine started double clicking all the time, which I dealt with, but then the scroll wheel stopped working and I tried to deal with it but I couldn't. Now I have a G500s that makes a high pitched noise constantly and it is slowly driving me insane.

I tried the new abomination of a mouse that is the Proteus Core and returned it after an hour. Pressing that stupid thumb button every time I had to readjust the mouse was just too annoying. And the horizontal scroll didn't work right for some reason, there was a 1 second lag between tilting the wheel and the scrolling.

I loved that mouse OP, but the clickers were shit. All of them died right outside it's warranty.

I'm on that steelseries shit now. Waiting for the new rival to drop so i can return my current one to microcenter and pay the difference.

thing has a stupid led screen for MLG rice bullshit but i'll most likely have it turned off. I'm in it more for the improved sidebutton placement.
>>
>>54002111
The G600 didn't replace the G500, knucklehead, the G500s did, and the G502 replaced that.
>>
Used that mouse for around 5 years I think then it died on me. It was pretty comfy and fit my hand very well.

I now have the g402 I got for cheap. It's good but not as comfy as the old one.

Is the corsair m60 really that bad? I have one and it works fine.
>>
I replaced the Logitech M100 because it was uncomfortable on my fingers because of the corners, with this model here because I thought it looked like a comfort-fit kind of mouse. And it feels pretty much the same. My ring finger is against the edge of the right button.

Can someone recommend me an affordable, comfortable wired model? Preferably big but I guess I can manage if it's regular size...
>>
>>54002111
>15 buttons
Maybe you should consider purchasing a keyboard. It seems like a frivolous expense at first but you'll be surprised at how useful it can be.
>>
>>54002093
I'm still using mine.
I just have to keep fixing if whenever the double click dies.

Considering getting a G900 Chaos Spectrum just because of how badass it is.

This is pretty much the ideal setup for most people that use their computer for games and productivity, although MMO and MOBA players might want a third mouse with hotkeys.
>>
I need a non-huge mouse that doesn't feel distractingly strange while using its range of side buttons.
Currently using a G502. Comfy for normal use. Pain in the ass for the features I bought it for besides the scroll wheel which is totally fine.

I will cry for days if my G500 ever dies. Truly GOAT.

Though the sensor isn't perfect I would say the Gigabyte M6800 is the best cheap mouse you can get apart from the optical 1.1a and intellimouse 3.0. I've been using my M6800 for a few years now and it hasn't put a foot wrong.

I bought my girlfriend a ZA13 and she seems very comfortable with it but the clicks are. louder than her Savu.

She has tiny hands. I don't but would prefer the 13 to the 12 because I'm a fingertip grip heathen.
>>
Still using my Logitech G9.
Gets the job done.
>>
>>54013342
Thanks. I was hoping they'd have a hand chart for suggested size, but I guess all the wacky grips out there make that impossible.

Dgaf about click noise because I'm a sad sack who lives alone.

Be good to your gf, anon.
>>
>>54013368
Pretty much just substract 1-1.5cm from a mouse's length to go from palm -> claw, and another for claw -> fingertip.

Then look at width and what people say about how easy it is to lift or press the buttons.

If the hump is further back it's easier for fingertip. Further forward is easier for palm. You get the idea.

I'd respond further but "fuckoffnotyourblog"

Underrated mouse
>>
>>54013420
That's a good assessment to keep in mind, thanks. I have a pretty small hand for a male and a claw/palm sort of hybrid, so I think the 13 should be okay.

Also, is this thread for keyboards? I like the sleek, basic look of Das Keyboard, am I about to make a poor decision by trying one out?
>>
>>54005656
ye have used this mouse for 8 years now, have to change after every 6 months because all logitech mices have shit buttons :(. It's possible to repair those. but it takes way too long. Other than that the mouse is fucking great.
>>
what's the best mouse that you have ever owned? looking for something that is ambidextrous, good for gaming, but doesn't yell "i spent money to look like a gamer."
>>
>>54013585

I'd rather get the 12, I have an fk14 which has the same dimensions as the za-12 minus the hump and I wouldn't want it any smaller. My hands are 7 inches, smaller than average.

>>
>>54005042
I love the screen on this thing, and keep a G13 on my desk basically just to have a secondary mini-display for switching profiles and seeing media info while full-screen gaming.

The rest of the keyboard, though, not so much. Too many useless buttons, too big overall, and it's not mechanical. It might be great for MOBAs or MMOs though, or maybe for some kind of creative applications where you don't need to do a lot of typing and can use tons of macros.

I'm a pretty big Logitech fanboy, though, and really like the G810+ I just got, along with my G303.

Picked this up from a sale for 50€, normal price was 90€ or something. No ragrets

It's a great mouse even though I dont necessarily use all the buttons at the same time. I usually need around 6 when gaming
The scroll wheel is pretty shitty tho
