A lot of people report the google keyboard with all the fancy stuff turned off lets you not only type accurately but fast too.

It seems to hold true for me.

I've been using SwiftKey for the past few years and have no complaints. It can be customized to the skin and everything. I personally thought it was worth the $2

all touchscreen keyboards are shit

swiftkey solves this by having unquestionably the best prediciton algorithm. I only actually type like 1 out of every 10 whole words and usually type no more than 3 letters before it predicts what im going to say next, and nearly every sentence pre-predicts my next word

also, using auto complete adds a space inbetween words. I cant use other keyboard and have to manually hit space anymore like a mmongoloid

Over time I noticed that when my keyboard kept auto correcting and prediting words based on gesture typing I got used to being babied around by keyboard software. I could barely type past 30wmp even with all this fancy shit. So I turned it all off and practiced touch typing every day on my phone. Sure enough I started typing with near perfect accuracy and my wpm jumped to 35wmp. Currently at 40wpm and still grinding hard to get faster.

I'm much better on an actual keyboard. I started using autocorrect a few months ago. Since them, I've been typing faster, but inaccurately.

Before, when I was typing faster than usual, I'd have to go back and correct a few mistakes. With autocorrect, I don't need to, most of the time.

SwiftKey if you are multilingual, great prediction without ever having to change the keyboard between two languages, it predicts both languages super accurately on the fly... plus its customization is fucking great and can be tailored to your exact needs.
Love being able to lower keypress vibration duration, have a short long press (150ms) and have custom themes (I like Minimalist themes).

If you only type in one language, especially a major language (English, Spanish, German etc) then the default keyboards are usually fine. The extreme customization of SwiftKey can be overlooked, overall.
>>
>>53997921
Hell, the Xperia keyboard is my favorite. Only thing I dislike is prediction must be on for auto-correct.
