Found a great idea thanks to another anon. There is a full wooden(not hollow) door slab without holes that I will pick up. Looks very nice in their setup and I will follow suit with mine.
I originally was going to take the top of of this counter to make the desk look very contemporary.

I use a craftsman work bench as a standing desk. Good height for a standing desk and plenty of surface area. Item # 00910138 if you wanna check it out the sears site.

Pay attention to height OP, you want your knees, waist, and elbows at 90 degrees when you're sitting comfortably. I'm 6'4" and didn't realize how HUGE of a difference it makes to long term comfort and health until they adjusted my desk at work way up from hobbit mode to the right position. Oh and don't cheap out on a chair, budget at least $200 for your own fucking spine.

Besides a "table" is often way more appropriate than a desk. Because desks often come with standardized sizes, which are fucking shit if you're the average /g/oyim with 3+ monitors, DAC, 60+ keyboards and whatnot.

I had a similar setup with only one drawer element.
Put my seat too close to it. Banged my kneecap regularly against the edge. Moved the drawer element away.
Not much depth so you can't stretch your legs to the back of the table if you put the it directly against a wall.
Great if you have not much space.
I fucking love concrete so god damn much. But good luck finding a desk with a decent price using that material.
It's also cold and heavy. But damn, that minimal look.
