I've fully submerged this thing in water multiple times since I've got it. Still works perfectly fine. And even if I do have insurance on it, I'd rather not have my phone get wrecked in the first place. Also I can use my phone in places I couldn't before (muhh underwater camera shots). It's worth it just for that.
