What are some good encryption programs that work on Windows 10?
>>53900113
Truecrypt before nsa
>>53900113
rot13 is pretty good and open source
>>53900128
Doesn't work on windows 10 though.
>>53900141
nll yznb
>>53900141
Thanks, but sadly I'm no Roman, so I don't think this encryption will be safe enough.
>>53900187
>using windows 10 expecting encryption to secure the system
>top kek
>lets encrypt the spyware logic
>>53900187
Hey, you said "good", not "secure". Rot13 works great as a substitute for fcbvyre pbqrf on boards that don't have them, and it's great for leaving hidden nerd messages.
>>53900143
i dont know about the os hard drive but container and disk encryption works.
>>53900143
if your security is important enough that you need disk encryption, step one is uninstalling Windows 10
veracrypt desu senpai
>>53900593
It's not that important, I just want to hide some r34 pictures of Flandre from my nosy pals.
>>53900615
then all you need is a file container, which >>53900269 says works. But a passworded 7z file would be just as good for that application
>>53900615
just get veracrypt
>>53900113
veracrypt, familia~
>>53900613
>>53900659
>>53900706
>>53900733
Veracrypt it is then.
>>53900755
VC is officially approved by me, desu
>>53900779
If a guy posting loli says that, I'll buy it.
>>53900706
How does VeraCrypt differ from TrueCrypt? Did they fork, or somehow pick up development?
>>53900893
Picked up development. Interface is exactly the same.
>>53900893
They fixed the bugs that the audit found and added a bunch of magic numbers for the amount of hashing done. I don't know if they did anything besides that, but if they did then it's probably buggy as fuck.
>>53900911
Yeah, that's why I asked. It looked exactly the same.
Has it been audited yet? Or was that audit of TC ever completed? That was in progress right around the same time the original author(s) of TC so mysteriously disappeared.
>>53900930
It's not buggy at all.
They fixed all known problems with TC and added PIM - personal iteration multiplier.
