Why do Nvidia and Intel shills always lose their shit over power consumption?
When you are running a 600+W machine, why do 20W here and there matter?
Especially if you are increasing voltages and overclocking. Why does it matter?

When fermi was burning down houses and causing enormous firestorms nobody cared because muh Nvidia.
tl;dr >>53899634
>>53899630
Because electricity isn't free and with summer coming every degree matters when the central house ac consumes 6000w.
>inb4 I don't care
>your reasons aren't valid under my conditions
>this is actually a thinly veiled Nvidia hate thread
>>53899630
Because performance isn't increasing fast enough, time to sperg out over some other meaningless statistic.
>>53899630
It "looks" better. In actuality, it doesn't even matter. It's like having 99 lightbulbs on in your house vs 101 light bulbs on; the difference is negligible.
>>53899995
A 200w difference equals to 13 1800 lumen ccfl bulbs. (the twisty ones)

Or just turn down the brightness on your monitor from surface of the sun to flashbang.
>>53900201
A monitor is around 25w so that wouldn't matter much.
