−a, −−aur
Also search in AUR database. With −u or −−sysupgrade, upgrade aur packages that are out of date. With −Qm, display more info about foreign package.

Onlyrm -rf /could be more adventurous.

How do the xbps sources work? Does it provide a centralized method of updating all source compiled packages (like yaourt)?

Does void have plans on an equivalent of USE flags? My problem with the AUR is a new package is required for each configuration.

Void linux packages have subpackages but they don't look as flexible. Vim only has a Normal version, an X11 version, a GTK+ version, a Huge version, or a Huge version with python3.

FUCK I don't even use Slackware and it still pisses me off to no end hearing this blatant disinformation about the distro.

Yeah no one has found a better way in the past 20 years. Last year a couple of devs came up with a script to help outfor dir in *; do
cd "$dir"
sudo chmod +x ./*.Slackbuild
sudo ./*.Slackbuild
done
But it had a couple of bugs which are still being ironed out.
