Hipsters will love that shit, cause so retro and styleish and crap...

Let's pool ideas on how to take money from retarded hipsters, /g/

How about connecting two empty PBR cans with a wire and sell it as "distractionless" communications device?

You don't!

You do, however, sync files to the cloud, rather than save on to a flash card.

Also behold the large screen perfect for writing.

Make the cans out of brushed aluminum and your are done. Also, we need sponsership from Starbucks.

if this was 400$ and the eInk screen was twice as big I'd actually buy it
>>
>>53885363
Not to mention that you could get a full-featured word processor in the 90s for probably the same price, even counting inflation.

And they could do formatting and had a fucking printer stuck on the back.

You could probably manufacture one of these for next to nothing these days. You wouldn't even need the printer because who prints these days?

Even worse, it's hard-coded to directly sync everything through their own little cloud-service.
So if that 2-man company goes bankrupt (one can only hope) your already fairly useless device is now completely useless.

And your masterpiece is gone forever.

They made no statements regarding the electronics.
It's probably very simple.
You should be able to replicate all its functionality with just an ESP8266

>>53885176
Even if you do want a "distractionless" alternative why not just buy the cheapest old laptop you can find and just install whatever text editor you want on it?

Or ask a family member. Everyone knows I like to tinker with old stuff so I'm treated as a dumping ground. I don't mind though since I get some interesting stuff, like a PCMCIA card for PCMCIA cards.

Why would I use that over this?

God, can you imagine people going to a busy Starbucks with that thing and claim that they're working free from distractions?

You can't even go to an actual quiet empty place with this, since it depends on wifi.
>>
>>53885322
I'm pretty sure that screen is 4:3, and they used the aluminum body to cut off the bottom fourth for the clock and date.

Why the fuck would they do that when the screen is so fucking small?
