I used this disk as a portable private data storage since 2013. It always made problems when plugged in on USB 3.0.

It also was pretty slow, ~20-30 MB/s. Now I get this after I plugged it on SATAII in my PC.

What's up with the arabic language?

hey asshole, how about not posting it in german or whatever so most people can help you, Sheißkopf

Your disk is fine on paper. But if you feel something is off you should replace it. And keep the current drive as a backup. Because disks can go from fine to broken instantly.

pirate hdd regenerator and pray that it fixes it, also 8 bad sectors are negligible
>>
The dont buy seagate meme is real, not just a meme.

Your HDD has 8 bad sectors, it will get worse with the time.
Post HD tune tests.

Its not a meme, WD and Toshiba aren't better. I bought this HDD years ago as a pocket external drive, it broke but then I found out I can use the HDD as a normal SATA HDD.

Which 2.5" HDD would you recommend me? Not for laptop, can be 9mm, but portable.

Again, try sqt for stuff like that, people will be able to help you there.

External HDDs are supposed to be slow, because they don't need to be fast and because it increases reliability.
They don't are designed to be main OS HDDs.

Seagate is either bad from the start, or you get lucky and never have issues. My 1TB 7200 RPM has run for 19127 hours and is still good. *knocks on wood*

I used it for years and sometimes didn't treat it well... I saw some charts about 3 TB HDDs, all seem to fail for some reason.

I also have a 4 TB Seagate HDD and 2 TB SSHD in my desktop, I wanted the WD Black first but saw no reason to pay more for a normal disk without SSD cache.
