Whats the best antivirus/malware program to use?
>>
CommonSenseAV

CLAM

CommonSense 9000 + Defender

>Using antivirus in 2016
Get out of here, pajeet
>>
>>53869700
Gentoo
>>
Norton 2016
>>
>common sense
>malwarebytes scan once a month
>only run shifty programs in a VM

Literally all you need.
>>
>>53870968
You aren't using common sense if you have an anti virus you fuck
>>
>>53870968
How does Common Sense work with relatives that force their way in my room while gone and force spyware on my pc?
>>
>>53869700
A-N-U-S
>>
>>53872667
Having a password would fall under common sense
>>
>>53872709
Deadlocks failed,
Passwords failed(basically bragged to another relative about how he got through with a backdoor).

Again, what do?
>>
>>53872703
this. Just google it.
>>
>>53869700
It doesn't matter, they're all worthless.
>>
>>53872665
All machines have weaknesses, which is why we still need common sense.
>>
>>53872667
If you feel being forced, then you are not using common sense.
>>
>>53873347
Look at >>53872746

High security locks failed and encrypted devices failed from remote attacks.

Sitting duck am I?
>>
>>53869700
Avast and Malwarebytes as a combo.
>>
Defender is okay.

But if AV is really needed, then NOD32 will do the job.
>>
>>53869700
Avast.

Unless you use something slow 'n weak, which then you'll use Defender.

Living with normies :^)

Free programs, from the internet.
Roguekiller and others are great.

But seriously, as an adult all you need is common sense, and something like Ublock or NoScript.

Thnx 4 spreading virus shit without even knowing.
>>
Upgrades, a firewall, clam and common sense are everything a normal user needs.
>>
MSE on Windows 7
Defender on Windows super botnet

Antivirus software is redundant nowadays. It's only still available because it's pushed on stupid people.
>>
>>53869700
Over the last 2 years my antivurses detected 0 shit... The reason? I grew up and learned how to properly search for porn - literally 0 viruses.
0 Infections, 0 fuckups.. it all comes down to common sense, because the antivirus telling me a file is virus is irrelevant because I would've avoided downloading it in first place and if it's downloaded I would've verified what's up with it long before clicking random shit.

At this point I run without antivirus - since it just fucks up resources for no reason, I run malware bytes once / week for a full scan tho, just to be sure.
>>
>>53869700
>>53872632
Same for me

When I see some weird shit on my taskmanager I run malwarebytes
>>
>>53879123

MSE likes to fuck up cracking programs like keygens and such, and doesn't detect actual threats.
>>
does malwarebytes consider kmspico a malware?
also unrelated but is ccleaner uselful or does disk clean up do the job?
new to this windows bs
>>
>>53879552
you can add an folder exclusion with Kmspico that's what I done

Yes it's very good, but also get BleachBit and run it once, then use CCleaner once and then.

Also what I suggest is Revo Uninstaller, it removes 100% all traces of a program when uninstalling... using this your windows will never slow down or get bloated - trust me running same install since windows 10 release, no problems.
>>
Adwcleaner, Malwarebytes and Ublock origin with uMatrix is all you need.

>Clam
Only if you're in Linux. If you're in Windows the best is herdProtect (it uses ClamAV too).

* I don't recommend herdProtect to scan the entire system. Only individual files. To the system scan I use Norton or NOD32. I imagine Kaspersky is also fine. Malwarebytes and SpyBot are obligatory.

>>53879967
Holy shit that's retarded.
That mostly just increases your attack vector and amount of false positives.
>>
>>53873281
The same holds for users.
>>
>>53873367
you are a retard
>>
>>53879967
4 years without any antivirus/govermentbackdoor on my masturstation. Never had anything virus/trojan etc on it. I donĀ“t understand how normies are able to catch viruses on such a frequent basis....

0% commonsense

Aside from CommonSense 9000v1.1?

Pic related. Unfortunately, it's licensed and mostly for corporate environments.

Do not use an internet connection. That's it.

Common sense

I know it's already been posted many times, but that's only because it's the correct answer
>>
Well I get kespersky for free and it's good but really just don't be a retard.

>>53880353

>>53880390
What you used to check if your masturstation didn't had viruses?
>>
>>53872746>>53872746
Lay strategically placed needles in your room facing straight up in front of the ground near your computer and/or hidden in the seat
Leave them there and wait for those faggots to get in your room
If they get stuck and then bitch at you for it, say it's their fault for touching your shit and being in your room to begin with
>>
>>53882048
He used a microscope and a Petri plate.

> 0% common sense
>>
>>53882570
Need something to stop them. It's like the old saying, " when the cat is away the mice will play".

I don't think needles will do anything. The door literally has two different locks yet shit is missing days I got to work.
