Is there any reason to use Tor over I2P?

They're built for two different uses, Tor is mainly ment for anonymous clearnet browsing with darknet browsing added, and I2P is built for hidden sites first anf foremost.

Speaking as a former co-designer of I2P, yes: although Tor has strayed far from its original design spec, it has tens of millions of users, so it has a much larger anonymity set. It is also better-studied. Tor also has tons of volunteers running well-studied outproxies and is well- designed for that.

I2P is better at mesh/in-network connections and peer-to-peer connections: that is what it was designed for.
