Kevin does a show very much like AOTS on Twitch called The Attack.
It's pretty great, but I stopped watching it because they are Jews about their VODs

The New Screen Savers

I liked x-play but they were cartoonishly anti-PC.

Remember they had a "how to be a PC gamer" episode and they put together a joke build, it cost like 6 grand, they got all the hardcore overclocking shit like the two foot high heatsinks, then didn't actually overclock it. Also only talked about relatively indie buggy as shit games that were extremely hard to learn, like this submarine sim with a 600 page manual.

Attack of the Show had NOTHING to do with technology.

This
It was an internet meme variety show, mixed with "nerd" pop culture.

If it had come out on a real channel, just a few years later, it would be a hugely popular and successful show with all the young kids and the "nerd culture" shit.

AotS could have been way better. I only watched it for Kevin Pereira.

The problem with tech shows is that there's not enough happening every day to justify it, let alone every week. Tech news is slower than slow. I mean, there's new news about some shit every week but it's not always amusing to watch.

AotS, or any tech show, would be more amusing if they had special guest segments, Tech in use demonstrations, robot wars, followed by brief segments in-between of news stories; the more major news stories getting more time.

TechTV served its purpose back in the day. I really enjoyed most of it. However, I just don't think it would be any good today.

First off, anyone today who would be interested in watching it probably runs an ad blocker on their browser. How many of them would be willing to sit through commercial-laden TV shows? (Especially towards the end, TechTV approached SpikeTV levels of commercials.)

Second, unfortunately, it would be politicized out the ass. Modern TV landscape is overrun with politically correct crap. Any TechTV reincarnation would be 1% actually technology or games and 99% black muslim lesbian girls "learning to code" while fighting online harassment or some such bullshit. Search your feelings, you know it to be true.

I fucking loved it as a kid.
It aged very poorly, especially when you realize how everything was planted for them.
