What happened to Startpage?
It's been returning awful results for about a week now. Is it the merge with ixquick? Has Google done something to mess it up? It used to return the same results as Google, now it's just bad.
Examples;
>wikipedia page for something is usually now on page 2 or even 3
>blog posts or strange sites are top results, actual website for something is down below
>download sites like techspot or cnet are put ahead of github or sourceforge pages

Turn off the family filter. I was getting low quality searches and it fixed it for me.
I'm not sure, Perhaps you could send them an email?
I agree that it has been getting worse somehow. Filter bubble wins.

It hasn't been returning the same results as google for ages.
Use Duckduckgo, bing or yahoo search. Never use google. They spy on you and they will destory us sooner or later
