Windows never does this, even when it doesn't have the correct graphics card driver installed. Do freetards even bother to do QA?

>Do freetards even bother to do QA?
Never ever.

Want an example? Try hitting the delete key in files in debian with a file selected.
>>
what is this image supposed to imply when "normies" use similar in principle lock screens for their androids?
>>
>>53856203
You should write "$popular_distro" to avoid shell globing!
>>
>>53856578

The joke is that for a house lock, a burglar would simply break the chain to get in and your ridiculous locking mechanism does nothing but waste time.

For a digital lock it doesn't apply.
>>
>>53856578
Lock screens for devices that are used super frequently are not a needlessly complex or time consuming method.

Security with a device that can be picked up and used about 50 times a day is different than a security lock for a door that only needs opening once or twice per day.

Try using motherboard graphics instead of your GPU, if that's your set up. Some video card manufacturers are shit at providing driver support.

Yes, when GNU/Linux shilling will die.

I haven't even done that.

You don't even shill something that's free, dumbass
>>

In the OS: Debian
on the program: Files
hitting the delete key: does jack shit.

Really, this is really basic shit. Windows does it, I'm willing to bet the farm macs do it. IT SAYS DELETE, ITS A BUTTON YOU PRESS. WHY, WHY LINUX, WHY DO YOU NOT DO THIS BASIC ASS SHIT.

This tactic never works, Mr. Shill. You absolutely can shill ANYTHING.

Then you can't shill W10 since it's free :^)

Linux never does this. Worst case you're missing wifi and you have to go get an ethernet wire so you can download the driver or firmware blob.

Windows users: Unable to comprehend how overhead works.

If linux is hard its because you are weak willed and unwillingly to give it the time and patience to properly learn.

But muh games.

typing "sage" in the options field bumps threads to the top of the board faster, more people will see your message if you do that.

That's how we keep our bst threads at the top of the board, otherwise they just get pruned by the janitors... Sage bumps the thread up 10 times what a normal comment does,

Lock screens are a UX thing not a security barrier. You remember the lock button combos that were on pre-smartphone era phones? Same deal. They are there as a protection against your phone doing stupid shit by accident while it is in your pocket or bag.

The main physical security feature of phones and those slide locks is the owners themselves and the desire to prevent access.

Real security only happens with Passcodes/pattern locks or encryption on phones, or a Mortis lock for doors. These other things are just to prevent accidents.
