I've used all 8 GB of RAM in my desktop twice that I remember, once last year during the terror attack in Paris where I watched the livestream in a VM because I didn't feel like installing Flash only to remove it again right after, and another time earlier this year when I made pic related. I don't see how people can use that much RAM unless they do large amounts of image/video editing or other shit like that. For regular day to day shit I rarely use more than 1.5 GB of RAM.
