I got an Otterbox Symmertry for mine. It's not as bulky as their Defender, or even Commuter series, but it seems solid and I'm happy with it. Paired it with a thick tempered glass screen protector.

Pelican makes a good case for them. I ended up just getting a flip case because it's more convenient. I don't commonly drop my phone.
I don't know about a case but definitely get a glass screen protector. I've dropped my note 4 a couple of times on my tiled kitchen floor from about 5 feet high and the screen protector has taken the impact and not my screen.
