What the fuck? Was fucking Windows defragmenting all of my drives, including my SSD, automatically?
>>53834301
Yes, why do you care?
>>53834301
What the fuck? You don't know how to OS?
well, TRIM is run on an SSD instead, but yeah
Most likely it ran the trim command to that time where it shows defragmented.
Even windows isnt that retarded
>>53834301
This is something any respectable system owner should know to disable after first installation of Windows.
>>53834365
Windows 7 is
>>53834401
Fucking bullshit. I have never heard this mentioned, not once.

Its written in retarded computer magazine tutorials "optimize your windows for more speed".
Saw it mutiple times here in germany. They also recommend installing tuneup utilities

>Windows sheeple are still defragging their drives
unless you're running like a really fucking old pre-sp1 and pre-many updates version of w7, or anything older, it won't try to defrag your ssd (and even then I'm not 100% it would anyway)
>>53834301
No. Optimize doesn't mean just defragmenting. Usually for an SSD it means it's running the TRIM command.
>>53834401
No it's not. It can detect when an SSD installed.
That was one of the reasons they introduced the hardware experience index. If your storage "score" matched that of an SSD, it made sure to never run defrag.
It automatically defrags hdds and trims ssds.
its a dumb feature as defragging will reduce performance while its doing that, but my 1,5tb hdd takes around 20 hours to defrag
>>53836462
I could see it taking 20 hours for a file placement optimization, but there's honestly no reason fpr someone to not have a background defrag service set up
