When is CyanogenMod planning to release the official CM13 OTA? Getting sick of rooting my OPO.
You mean cos13, not cm13. Cm13 is out already

You're missing the point. Cm13 IS out. You're talking about cos13 (cyanogen os). You said "CyanogenMod" which is not related to COS releases. You can download cm13 right now, I'm using it atm.
Can you guys please explain the benefit of CM over rooted stock?
I tried CM for a day and restored stock rooted back up the next... Didn't see much point in it
>Please don't include "nightly" in your reply

Well, I tried installing it over the cyanogenmod recovery but the installation always fails. I did all the updates with the stock recovery since I got sick of rooting.

>cyanogenmod recovery
Surely you mean ClockworkMod?
>>53831833
No, seriously. I've got the stock recovery.
>>53831807
Stock Android is pure shit. It lacks everything that makes Android what it is due to many other 3rd parties (oems) make it so much better in any way. Cm has stable channels (I'm on one) so you don't have to usr nightlies.

I downloaded it from their website and "performed an update" like I always did but this one doesn't work. It just days "installation failed".
When your device developers get it stable and submit a request for a snapshot.
>>53831900
That's not a recovery
>>53832002
What then?
>>53831833
CyanogenMod has their own recovery.
>>53832028
Jesus, that's a big ass recovery file then
>>53832146
No it's included in the OTA and some of the distributed downloadable images.
>>53832165
Would you be so kind to link me the ota? Seems like I'm to stupid to find it.
>>53832028
Just flash twrp 3.0 already
>>53832245
I would flash a better rom if I could but I need my phone up and running because it's the only way people can contact me.
>>53832264
Twrp is a recovery.
>>53832188
Just download and install the recovery image, then install the main image.
>>53832245
Ideally do this. TWRP is a better recovery.

Install the 2.8.4 before 3.0, (there's a warning about that on the TWRP page)
>>53832264
Btw i am using oxygen with xposed. I like being basic and upgrading with features by my self.
>>53832293
Yes, ive always used twrp, the updates from 2.8.4-3.0.0 are more than just visual. Be careful when flashing recoveries in general.

Disregard this, that's for the TWRP app.
