Holy shit, i just learned Samsung uses PWM backlight control in the galaxy phones with OLED displays. PWM literally makes my eyes bleed. Why arent there regulations prohibiting the usage of pwm in display technology?

Does that mean the display always ahs the same brightness, but flickers at different speeds to give the illusion of different brightness because it's too fast for the eye?
