Hey /g/, I'm looking for something to give me desktop notification for events such as completed torrent downloads from my server, when YouTube videos are uploaded, when a livestream starts, email received, etc.
What would be the best service for this?

pushbullet + ifttt

But anon, how else will I know when I get quality replies like yours to my posts?

Windows 10 basically does everything you listed.

The programs in question need to put out standard notifications in the first place for W10's action center to "catch" them

ifttt doesn't let you do most any of that and pushbullet is more for notification syncing between phone and desktop. I'm looking for a more direct solution
I wrote an Android and node desktop app that displays phone notifications natively on your comp and comp notifications natively on your phone. If you're interested I'll github it now

I'm not really looking for a notification syncer. Just a native desktop app that can give notifications from like and RSS feed or check when downloads are finished or hell even just check my email for certain email notifications and just mirror the message as a popup
