Reminder that Haskell is shit
C++ is a good language. Java's not quite there yet.

LOL
I'm working on my new book "Haskell Programming with Cucks"

> Care to prove that?
> Haskell programmers act to be these fountains and progenitors of computer theory end game and logical connoisseurs, but fuck. GHC is a fucking mess. The bytecode is generates is horrendous.
> I mean, you people, with your little dot eyes. Did you not even read the post? Optimization is shit. Its a toy language for academics.
> Why not publicly give hard statistics instead of "what you hope should be the case".
> I get the idea of being a college student and programmer that kind of goes off "taste" and repeating what you hear by word of mouth, but its something about doing it with tech that just irks me.

I don't understand what your issue with haskell is.
It's not slow. It's significantly faster than lisp.
>>53808566
Who the fuck uses lisp ?
lol what teh fuck
HASKELL CAN OPTIMIZE ADDING 3 + 3 + 3 to 3 + 3 + 3
WOW
I learned my lesson!
>>53808566
>It's significantly faster than lisp.
It's fucking nothing for the most implementations.
>>53808566
>significantly faster than lisp
That's not much of an achievement for statically typed languages that are designed to be compiled.
I want to start functional, how do I?
Also bump.

First, you have to complain about everything.
The number one rule is that the people who invented all of the computer hardware and programs we use do not know more than you do. It doesn't matter if they're popular or not. They're all retards. You could have done it better.
Then you need to write a lot of ignorant blog posts. The more ignorant you sound, the more you will be believed. Get facts wrong. Insult your readers. It's their fault that you're wrong.

Learn you a haskell or clojure.

i've never seen a condescending haskell user
its always the anti-haskells or anti-fp that re condescending and always criticising
its starting to get annoying since haskell is my first language

Annette,
Thank you for your post.
