Which do you prefer?

Been using 16:10 for 10 years now. Tried switching to 16:9. Fucking hated it. I never realized how important that extra inch on the top and bottom really are.

16:9 if there is a chance I will be consuming video on the device
taller ratios in all other cases
Never experienced 16:10, but 16:9 has not been pleasant for me.
21:9

I hate 16:9 i was on 4:3 but i hated that so much it forced me to change.Oh and well yeah um 4:3 was all that was around before 16:9 was made,so i had to be a true hipster and never upgrade till the last absolute millisecond
You're all talking out of your asses

16:9 >>>>> 14.4:9
I didn't fall for the widescreen meme.

I have a 25.5" 16:10 monitor that I've been using for years. Dual 16:10 24" at work. Been looking to add a second 16:10 at home but only 16:9 monitors are sold at a reasonable price now. I'll have to pay an exorbitant amount now if I want a 16:10.
I understand why (cheaper manufacturing for 16:9 with televisions; most consumers not caring so cheaper to produce monitors with fewer pixels), but I still hate it.
17.7:10 > 16:10

I prefer 16:10. Using a 30" 2560x1600 monitor as it is right now.
I REALLY, REALLY wish they'd come out with a 16:10 4K monitor or a flicker-free 1600p monitor but the chances seem dim in the world of "MUH 16:9".
Really, what's the point of 16:9 as a media aspect ratio when movies use a ridiculous ratio like 21:9 instead?
5:4/4:3 master race
16:9 is better for games due to how field of view normally works
>>53796455
16:10 is the greatest aspect ratio, no contest
>>53796455
16:10 is a bit nicer on the eyes for me. 4:3 to 16:9 was a huge transition, and I guess i've found the happy middle ground.
16:9 isn't bad.

Honestly 16:10 or 21:9. I have both and both are awesome.
>>53796455
Fuck everybody, 16:9 is fine.
>>53796455
16:10 is drastically better for anything under 30".
16:9 is tolerable for 40"+, but I still think I'd rather have 3840x2400 in an ideal world.
When you have a screen big enough it doesn't really matter.
