ok /g/ i just got an 80gb ipod 5.5 gen and i have already rockboxed it, what do you suggest i do to it next. i want to change the hdd so flash mem but not sure of the best method/guide. and replacing the housing to something a bit neat maybe a clear one

iPod 5.5g is a great DAP and very competitive even against some audiophile DAPs.
They use wolfson DACs, which are in high end players. That's why the 5.5g is so lucrative, it's the newest iPod with wolfson. Seriously, a rockboxed 5.5g is the way forward.

you can also get the msata version and put a 1tb samsung ssd in it. battery life won't be as good as any of the sdcard versions, but still better than the original hdd.
