That's actually pretty cool.
>>53794987
it makes no sense.

>not supporting the glorious binary rule
I bet you still use 1 dimensional computers, faggot
>>53796055
I'm developing my own computer system with an arbitrary amount of wildcard dimensions, get on my level. I will surpass quantum computing before it has even been created.
>>53796144
kickstarter or it didn't happen
>>53796479
I don't need kickstarter, I'm funded by the reptilians.

This is timecube for OSes
>something higher up you'll have HTML, Perl, PHP
HTML is not a freaking programming language. god dammit
> bill gates programmed windows in BASIC
lol
>>53796521
It's not aggressive enough to be a Timecube. It needs more "YOU'RE EDUCATED STUPID BY THE BINARY COMPLEX. BINARY COMPUTING WILL END IN CANNIBALISM UNLESS YOU RECOGNIZE THE FOUR DIMENSIONS OF THE OPERATING SYSTEM"
>>53794915
>As my bio suggests, I am not an accomplished programmer
Now there's a shocker.
binary is for engineering convenience, but what would non-binary electronics look like? transistors can only be on or off so could that logic be implemented in a circuit?
if there was one or more "middle voltage" bits then it would be possible to store more information in fewer memory locations, although I don't see how that would be 4D, like maybe in a matrix rather than a string so positioning of bits relative to one another is also used to encode information
>>53796875
Wouldn't fiber optics be the way to go? You could have different signals based on color/wavelength
>>53796875
>transistors can only be on or off
How do you think analog electronics work?
>>53796946
You just invented the 16,581,375D computer.
>>53796875
There have been trinary and quaternary computers before, look it up at Wikipedia
> As my bio suggests, I am not an accomplished programmer, but programming follows very understandable conventions which can be employed, such as Strings, Characters, Variables and Constants. I can never memorize an entire language, but I can be accurate. I can't code a thousand lines at once, but I can use tried-and-true methods to arrive at my goal, sort of like editing a video or animating in 3d.
> tldr; "I know very little, but if I dream big and act smart maybe something will come of this....even if it is pure shit.....because technically speaking pure shit is still something....right?"
Max fuckn keks
>>53796560
Does Time Cube have a meaning or is it just nonsense?
>>53797611
The guy behind it seems convinced, but of course it's nonsense, that's what's funny. I've never quite understood where he is even coming from though, my best guess is that when he's talking about 4 days going on at the same time he means the fact that there's day on one side of the earth, night on the other, and dawn/dusk between these.

pretty sure the niggress who blew all her money on lottery tickets and started a kickstarter to get more money to buy more tickets is the worst
>>53797157
How do those work exactly?
>>53794915
OP watches Restuprae confirmed
>>53794987
How the fuck is it cool? Transistors lend themselves to binary.
>>53797821
so is knitting. yet my grandma is not an programmer
>http://www.k2g2.org/blog:bit.craft:computational_model_of_knitting
Who wants to help me launch a kickstarter for a "one dimensional operating system"
It will only use zeros, so it will be twice as fast as anything we have now, and things will take up half as much space as normal.
>>53794915
why can't niggers into programming?
>>53798405
I already invented that years ago, fuck off trying to steal my invention.

spaces are for your reading pleasure
There's a random plug for a book about why black people are lazy on his personal site. I don't know why I thought it was funny.
I always knew that using binary was holding us back. It's time to finally move ahead and operate in the fourth dimension.
>>53798454
Screw you I am a GREAT black female web developer.
This project is actually decent, but their rewards are kind of fucked. They have a reward where someone can rename the language, "no holds barred". This'll be called "nigger dick", I guarantee it. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/520965826/basil-the-comprehensive-programming-language

/g/ wasn't always this bitter about everything. Could it be the influx of consumerist ledditors?
>tfw you realize he might be actually autistic
delete this, please.
We are finally going to retaliate against Big Binary after all these years.
>>53797821
like hell it is. jesus christ.
you can't parse html with a regex because it isn't turing complete.
>>53796560
He might be more aggressive in different contexts. Here he's on video and begging for money. Gene Ray doesn't seem so aggressive when he's on camera instead of behind a keyboard with control over the font size.

>>53794915
That guy is just spewing out random computer terminology without knowing why they mean.
So what's flawed about his idea? IIRC there have already been proof of concept quaternary computers. I'm not defending him, I just know very little about CS so I'm sincerely asking.
>>53796144
do you also move data around in RAM using magnets?
>>53794915
this guy is going to make 2000 bucks for free from an apr fools joke hes brilliant
Guys, it is April 1st.
>>53794915
That's a pretty risky april fools.
What if someone actually donates the $5000 and he has to deliver a compiler that works with 4 bit states
Ternary computers exist, but the hardware takes polynomially increasing space the more value states you add -- being thus far impractical.
>>53802330
>>53802232
But this was started like 2 weeks before April first.
