What are some "hacky" ways that you go about your daily computing?
I'm always looking for ways to be on my full powered desktop on a small screen or mobile and people come up with some interesting ways to do it.

My Ethernet dies whenever I'm not using it for more than a couple of seconds, so I constantly ping the router with 0 bytes in order to keep it alive.

I intend to buy an Arduino to build a set of dedicated media buttons.
If I get it right, I'll have volume and shit on its own control panel, allowing me to choose really nice keyboards with no regard to that shit.
