Is it worth getting, /g/?
What do you want it for?
Me and three other g/entoomen that I work with configure and support MikroTiks full time. None of us have any certs - just learned on the job - but we are bloody good at it.
Now that MikroTiks are well established, when we hire someone else I would favour candidates who have a MT cert and/or can demonstrate 1+ years of practical experience with them.
Posted from the land of Britfaggery.
I would say do it. Since you're already in an applicable job, it shows growth.
>Bump for interest.
Mikrotiks are nifty little fuckers for the price..?
Yes, Cisco is overrated.

Cisco wannabe
*insert network equipment manufacturer cert* is only good if you plan on working on that equipment. Having a Cisco cert won't help too much in the hiring process when a company uses watchguard equipment.
Mikrotik makes some neat equipment for the price.

Yeah. I use them for public wifi deployments. Awesome bang for the buck and CAPsMAN is GOAT.
