I'm dual booting with Windows 10, and I'm actually thinking of going linux only solution now. I used to dual boot because of games (my computer at the time was shit and performance on windows was better than on linux)
but now that I've got a below average tier computer, performance should be better.

but GIMP and SAI are served for different purposes. GIMP is for image manipulation, SAI is for creating and drawing art. Some tools translate from one another, but that's why SAI has a stabalizer, it's to draw shit with a tablet.
You'd compare SAI and Corel Studio Pro to Krita, which I didn't like personally, but maybe I'm not used to the different environment. You'd compare GIMP to Photoshop, and you know how that is.
If your job/school is still stuck in the twentieth century, then you might want to keep it for Microsoft Office. 3d animating is also supposed to be better on windows.

I know you guys are excited, but don't forget that Ms seems to be overloaded with all these ambitious projects like the port of obj-c runtime with Cocoa or when they were trying for the whole year to recreate the Android environment to run apks (and failing miserably).
