I'll be using it for some casual riverbank nymphing, mostly barbless catch & release though I'll be keeping the odd rainbow trout I catch, while listing to music (With my Ruizu A02 and xiaomi hybrids ofc)

The locked bootloader thing is new for this year from them and they probably want to appeal to their customers who aren't used to it. I would definitely recommend the Sanrenmu 7010. Bear in mind it is an EDC (16cm/6 1/4 inches) that's quite small compared to most of the Ganzo line. I have the G727 and it's bretty gud, though the opening isn't as quite as I'd like; I haven't bothered but I imagine it will be smoother if I add some WD-40. Pic related are the knives I received a few weeks ago from Gaybest.

Build quality looks really excellent, finish is good. The steel (440c) is perhaps sub par and doesn't hold an edge well. These knives are still probably the best bang for your buck you can find.

Just thought I'd let you guys know something.
I genuinely didn't receive something from gearbest and opened a paypal dispute and all went well. That is, until I decided to place another order (I had previously ordered things from Gearbest, this wasn't something new to me and I didn't dispute to scam them). The item that didn't show was for the value of $14 USD.
When I placed the new order, the tracking option was forced. I could not uncheck the box, and they were trying to force me to pay for tracking with their free shipping. My account must have been flagged as requesting a charge back at some point and this likely has triggered all my future orders to have mandatory tracking. I thought this was pretty bullshit, considering I've spent well over $250 with them in the past. The order with force tracking was something like $10 USD.
However, there is a work around.
If they force you to pay for tracking, you can inspect the element for the check box, change the values to 0, and remove "disabled=" which lets you uncheck it. The price won't reflect further down the page under Grand Total, but when you checkout with paypal the price will be the order price minus tracking.
In pic related is an EXAMPLE order (So you faggots can't report me or some shit) with a mandatory $2.66 AUD tracking which is removable by changing the checkbox status. My paypal reciept for my REAL order done this way shows the price paid being the total cost minus the $2.66 AUD (or $1.99 US) tracking price. The paypal process also reflects the product price minus tracking cost.
Probably going to be my last order with gearbest, but some future anons might like to know.

Placed order with GB march 23rd
It processed quickly and went to "Shipping" on the 24th.
I paid for tracked shipping and since 24th the tracking has just been "Undefined" and no tracking website can find it.
What do I do?

I went to paypal, if you contact gearbest through their portal they'll give you a refund in your GB Wallet. Disputing through paypal doesn't involve paypal unless you raise it to a claim, but ensures that you get a refund into your paypal account if it comes down to it. The item was ordered in mid-late January.

I have three packages incoming from gearbest and right now the tracking works on one of them. Two have been in the mail already for a few days.
I've had several packages from aliexpress with invalid tracking and they still arrived just fine. Occasionally a package misses a scan or two but still ends up where it needs to be so just give it time.
And since you ordered from china, it can take up to two months and on average takes up to six weeks.

Hey, I am looking for a USB power supply that can supply around 2 ampere at 5 volt. You can buy it at stores here for 15 dollars, and IKEA sells a pretty good one but I moved now and can't buy one there right now (their shipping is expensive as fuck). I wish 17track had the option to label tracking numbers so I could add the specific item and the date that it was shipped.

The app lets you label tracking numbers, you click the "memo" text or whatever it is under the carrier name when you add a new number and you can add a title to it that appears on the main app page.
