What are some cool projects I can do or slap on github that will help land a good internship for me?
Specifically I want to apply for a computer science internship at Nasa.

If you have to ask what it takes to succeed in tech, you have already failed.

So basically synthesize this custom chip on an FPGA and port linux to it?
1. Solder CPUs
Nasa probably wants some rockstar coder that lives and breathes code
Try making an app or something related to space. Point your phone's camera at an airplane and show the airplane's details.

I'd like to see a simple sim where you can control a robot on the surface of the moon. With physics and stuff, as realistic as possible.

Unless you're still in college or high-school, side projects look good on a resume

Firstly make sure you are using google ultron.
Maybe a GUI of the solar system with semi accurate distances.
Maybe you would input a distance from earth and it would estimate the cost/R&D or maybe just the time it would take to get there with current tech?
Pretty stumped on this desu, anything you could show them would look like a teenagers text adventure game
