So many straps are really so sexy. Too bad we don't have nearly as many shops interested in making quality 3rd party bracelets.

There's no way a third party would make any money selling bracelets with endlinks that only fit a specific watch. Pretty much the only exception I can think of are the Strapcode bracelets for the SKX watches because there's various extremely popular Seiko models with the same exact endlink shape and there's an actual need for the third party bracelets because the stock ones are so shit.

>>

There's a handful of companies that also sell solid link bracelets - with flat endlinks.
>>
>>53774293
Might have the same case diameter, but when looking at it straight on the left is framed by a thick bezel, creating a smaller dial and the right is basically just all dial. A watch can look smaller just by reducing the size of the dial on the watch. But that doesn't help it fit someone with wrists too small for the watch

This watch is 27.4mm, a typical woman's size.
>>
>>53775892
Something like a bracelet watch is feminine. Or something covered in diamonds or with a weird frilly bracelet like >>53775991 would be feminine. But just some regular looking watch is not going to look feminine just because it's not a 45mm dinner plate or whatever.

Because women watches are made to look more like jewelry, and less like a watch. They are the size of a typical woman bracelet, without the same focus on making it legible and practical like for men watches, hence relatively big.

I'm completely new to wearing watches. I got a Seiko snzh53 with a bracelet. I took 2 links out from the 6 o'clock but it still felt too loose (could fit a finger between bracelet and wrist) so I took 1 link out from the 12 side and now it fits a bit snug. Is this how they're meant to feel?

How much do watch repairs typically cost?
Specifically talking about broken complications, such as the calendar.

Asking because the watch in question is a cheap Swatch, meaning repair cost may exceed the cost of a brand new watch.

Repair cost exceeds the cost of a brand new watch.

Should I go for steel bracelet or rubber when purchasing a Seiko diver?
>>
>>53786493
Though try bringing it to a Swatch store and see what they say, they have some basic warranties no matter how old the watch can be.
>>
>>53786726
Which do you prefer? If you're not sure, I'd go for the steel. Any aftermarket rubber band will work fine if you chose to change your mind, but with steel bracelets you'll usually want one that was made for the specific model.
>>
>>53786726
I generally go for the steel bracelet, because finding one that fits later on is a bitch, while any rubber band will fit. But then, it's likely more expensive, and I bought the cheapest models sometimes because I already had a different strap in mind.

Not a problem for Swatch, really. You can already have the battery changed for free no matter how old the watch, so they might just repair it for not so much money. Try it, you may just have a nice surprise.

Digging the blue lume.

I'm considering getting one, but depends on how much will i like the Citizen i got in the mail.
>>
>>53790036
The blue lume is excellent, it lasts all night easily. My only beef with it is the chapter ring is just too big and the hash marks are the wrong amount. This watch could have easily been 40mm instead but I have large wrists so it looks pretty good even at 42. The movement is nicely decorated with a cool custom rotor and the bracelet is obscenely comfortable and very pretty.
>>
>>53790165
Which is also what bothers me about it, i just sold one of my watches since i started to dislike how big is it at 42mm (Despite owning if for 2 years).

I'm not really a fan of Longines modern designs. They're killing it with the Heritage line though.
>>
>>53790508
I'm at work right now, but I will when I get home. The problem with the bracelet is the first two link are joined together and stick straight off the end of the watch. It increases the effective lug to lug by a huge amount. I have 7.5 inch wrists but the third links on each side are basically vertical and it's ugly as hell. If you have smaller wrists it just won't work.
>>
>>53790540
Horrible colour, dial too busy, horrible day placement, a shit looking "12" and far too bulky.
I honestly think its a fucking horrible watch.

>>
>>53791093
The Rolex will straight up have a better made and more accurate movement.

The durability of a Sinn may be improved by their tegimented technology making it more resistant to scratches compared to most watches, the 904L stainless Rolex will be more resistant to corrosion.
