If I get a Pentium g4400 and a 960. Will I still be able to do gaymen? Or is that CPU going to destroy my frame rate? Only doing 1080p by the way. Pic related what I'm using right now.

Games are mostly GPU locked these days. The G4400 has decent single core but not very good multicore. I think you'll be ok.

At 1080p? Not even Source games.
Some games do not start on a CPU with less than 4 threads.

An Athlon 860K would be a much better choice for newer gaymes, despite the weaker single thread performance. A lot of newer stuff won't even boot with less than four threads.

Yes, you will.
Hell, I've seen test being ran with the ancient Core2Duo CPUs + modern GPUs, and majority of the big names still work fine, thanks to being GPU-dependent.
If you can, however, get i3 instead. It's a small but still very welcome upgrade from Pentiums.

This is an outright lie. Even a heavily overclocked G3258, the fastest dual core CPU you can buy by a distance, struggles massively in anything "AAA" released in the past 18 months.
Get an i3 (like $20 more) if you're gonna suck intel's cock. Having 2 threads can cause problems in vydias or will outright refuse to run.

Big jump in price, though.

it's not an outright lie, if I've fucking seen it:

Majority of new PC buyers are going to play the biggest mainstream titles anyway, and occasionally some few years old AA / indie titles.
The G4400 is 3% faster than a Haswell i5.

why not used i5-2500k, you do know its the same shit as i7-6600k , just different name.
You can literally pull 3x 980ti in SLI without hiccups...(tried and tested)

This.
I'm considering buying an i5 2500k because I don't want to get a new mobo and spend 200 bucks on a CPU just because Intel are jews.
