About 6TB of porn, mostly JAV, censored and uncensored.
I'm definitely guilty of digital media hoarding. Aprox 8TB music and almost 21TB movies and tv shows
>>53769104
Ebooks. 186.16 GB at the moment. Not sure why I keep doing this, would need 3 lifetimes to read them all.
I bought a BD-R drive for the sole purpose of burning tons of shows, series and movies.
I'm up to about 8TB so far.

>>53772220
Damn, son.
I only have a few GB and I think it's a lot.
>>53772313
Definetly wakes my inner hunger for knowledge.
Also, I must tell you that there is a huge amount of original and unique content that isn't digitalized yet.So, unless some genius scans all of that, your perfection will remain incomplete.
Did you ever thought of sharing your database on the internet trough torrent? (on /t/ for example). It kinda gives some purpose and utility to your quest. Book hoarding is the most patrician disease in my opinion. Kudos.
>>53772041
me too
>>53772639
How many back-ups do you keep? in different systems/devices or just 3 identical drives?
>>53772119
Like which?

wtf get a life
>>53774465
I have a life. I just continuously download whether I'm home or not. My server has access to all of my media so even when I'm not home I have access to all of my movies and music without worrying about having to pay for subscription services like Netflix or anything like that.
>>53774552
Do you ever worry about getting into shit with having all that downloaded?
>>53769104
>Does anyone here do it?
Only reaction pics on 4chan
Think I have 6 or 7 GB of reaction pics
>>53772403
Have you read the Afghan Campaign? I was about to a few years ago, and forgot about it. I like Pressfield.
few gigabytes of porn images
>>53774578
I have a foreign vpn that handles all of my data traffic so no real worries there.

>My server
im intrigued, so you have server that holds 29000GB? what does that cost you and how could i get one? I pictured you had this all on hdds
>>53774899
It's nothing that really complicated. I forgot I'm actually talking to people who might actually understand what I'm talking about kek. It's just a basic home cloud setup.
I got only 4x4TB (+ 2TB for TV recordings) NAS box.

Does anyone download websites?
I've often thought about hoarding niche sites since so many of my bookmarks have died over the years.Would be good to have an offline copy to hand.
>>53775070
I've been thinking about doing this for a few months. Don't know what the easiest way to go about it would be though
downloading some additions for my Calibre server right now
>>53775060
get fucking real this is the most basic shit ever
I hoard images I find interesting, mostly of cute 2D girls.
I had stuff saved from the early days of 4chan going back to 2005 but I accidentally deleted it while upgrading to Win7 back in 2009, it still pains me to this day... All that meme history, forever lost.
>>53769104
I've been downloading every episode of every TV show I watch. Currently at 8600 episodes
OC from Youtube as a backup and pictures. Pictures, of various subjects which I organize into folders. I review every now and then those videos, but I never felt like "today is a good day to go through all those virtual photobooks". I really don't know why I save them. Maybe, if me is granted a "natural" death, I will go through them in my sunset years sitting in my rose garden. I have the idea to print favorites on paper, but after one gaze those will probably gather dust on my shelf.
I don't save the actual videos files from movies/shows, but I have a list of titles in text format. My music folder consists solely of stuff that mean something to me, and because I have a rather distinctive taste it's currently 24 gb (flac, 320 cbr mp3). I would love to have and listen to my music on vinyl, you know, with the physical package and the almost "ceremonial" listening experience and all that kitsch, and discover new stuff in record stores rather than on discogs and youtube, but many of the music is digital-only and not on label, and for the others I currently don't have the cash to buy (1st pressing) mint records or are no more available.
3tb of movies
3tb of tv shows
1tb of books, ISO's, software and shit
