I use a Nikon from 2011 for low-noise photography at ISO100 and I'd choose the 20MP Carl Zeiss system over a 12MP meme with split-in-half pixels any day. Water resistance is not a main requirement for me, if I want/need to use an outdoor device, there are others where it is not as much of a deal financially spoken if they get damaged or stolen(festivals, Offroad trips and such) and I certainly do not need fingerprint sensor bullshit as I am not working at top-level CIA HQ. Don't think I'd ever Set up Iris Scanner requirement to unlock my own device for myself too - who the fuck does that, but it's at least better than Android's face recognition locking method if really needed(e.g. holidays but still won't prevent any device from being stolen, also your galaxy S7 can get wiped and re-sold on the black market if stolen simply by entering hboot - which also works without your precious Touch ID.
