umatrix is a little more involved than ublock but you can block more types of content. umatrix doesn't have static filters though so you still need ublock origin for complex blocking rules.
Gorhill should just combine the two extensions.

The screenshot function is amazing, you can even use it to single out just the actual content on a page.
Onetab - for saving research open in multiple tabs, or tabs grouped by topic. Way better that that heavy weight tabgroups shit they just removed.
