This is not funny. It is a sad reminder of faggots who are so smugly autistic that they will waste their time on shit like this instead of typing "google it faggot" like anyone with better things to do with their time would.

Yes, I realise the irony of this post. Fuck you.

How did you convert a gif into a webm?
>>
>>53758739
First changed the frame duration to 30ms on each frame with gimp, so that it would run faster.
Then used ffmpeg to convert the gif to webm
ffmpeg -i a.gif -c:v libvpx -b:v 2M -c:a libvorbis output.webm

Nope, probably just a unsupported cable, iDevices are picky about 3rd party cables (audio works, its purely passthrough and system wide) OR its streaming from a custom player, witch does not support video out, a TV channel app on my iPhone was like that.

company I worked at used Perl for testing the software.... the testers wrote them, the more 'advanced ones'. they could write a new one in a day.

so yeah, FUCK PERL.

DKIM, SPF, everything.
MXToolbox says 100% OK.

It's just that if you send an email from an "unknown IP", you can get blocklisted even at the very first email.

One of the solutions is to start real slow, sign up for JRMP/Google's admin shit, OR you can use Amazon SES for delivering the mails.

Not sure which is better...
But yeah, this is why paid email hosting will never die.

Also, on Windows you can just throw up a "hMailServer" and have a totally compliant, spam-filtering, antivirus-scanned email server.... meanwhile on Linux - if you are new to it, you can just follow one of the many fucked up and wrong tutorials, and end up with some monstrosity...

But I send mail from my VPS and Gmail just swallows it
>>
>>53764321
$ cat /var/log/mail.log

It will reply why it did that.
If you are lucky, your mail just gets delayed for ... hours-to-days, if worse, you get IP blocked right off the bat.

I am using my throwaway domain now to whitelist my new server.. I literally have to "spam myself" and write back and shit to earn a 'good reputation'.
It's a fucking joke...

I mean, IF the IP is whitelisted, why fuck with it?
This shit happens at DO, Hetzner, Vultr, every provider. The only exception was my SoYouStart server.
>>
>>53764348
>It will reply why it did that.
I mean swallows as in takes it. It delivers.
>>
>>53764368
Then it's Gmail's fucking "auto sort" shit.
If someone does not disable it, Gmail decides if the email is actually worth reading at all.

It works like 80% of the times in my country, 20% of the times it just makes some important mail get lost.

You know, the "community", "promotion" and shit tabs on front. (I disabled it as soon as I had it, because it messed up the IMAP folders too. I received mails in "Important" instead of "Inbox"...)
>>
>>53764396
If somebody does not receive my mail it's probably not worth mailing them.

That's my philosophy. Least amount of headaches.
>>
>>53759414

You are using Debian aren't you?
>>
>>53764406
Uhm yeah, but what if you try to reach some company?
That's why I now train my shit, because I host my own business's mailing as well...

Exactly which company uses gmail instead of their own mail server?
>>
>>53764527
Big companies have their own IP block that they use, I am talking about renting a server from a provider - whether it's a VPS or a dedicated one, OR when you host your own server at home.

Because that was the buzz when all this "muh NSA" news came around.
>>

>>
>>53764543
I feel like we're talking about different things in different languages.

Let's start over:

You're complaining about not being able to send e-mails to @gmail.com addresses from your own IP?

How does this relate to trying to reach companies? What company uses a @gmail.com address?
>>
>>53764559
This email sending shit applies to any major email provider. Like JMRP is Microsoft's "Junk Mail Reporting Program".

And sadly, quite a few smaller businesses use them around here. Heck, most of them uses some crap local free email provider. Like GMX, but much much worse.

Fuck I hate DRM.
I bet if you talked to any person, any fucking politician, and was like "I have a video on this tablet and a cable that plugs from this tablet into this TV but it won't let me watch the video on the TV from the tablet" they would say that makes no sense, but that's exactly what they're getting away with.
