Providing you can find and/or get the drivers for said USB receiver working, sure. OPI PCs, like Raspberry Pis, run GNU/Linux on an ARM CPU, so that's two hurdles.

Like I said, there are two hurdles. Drivers are easy when you're on linux on an i386 or x64 machine, but not so when you're on an ARM-based machine. For example: wifi dongles that use the RTL8188 driver work fine, but ones that use RTL8192cu do not.
